Sell, sell, sell raffle tickets

Every TPS family now has a raffle ticket book (10 tickets x $2.50 each) to sell to friend, family and work mates and complete strangers! Thank you to families who have promptly returned their sold (or unsold) tickets!

There is a high demand for extra raffle books, so if you are not going to sell your tickets, please return your book to the School Office so that we can give it to someone else. At last count, the highest number of books sold was 3, so if you want to be in the running to win the booksellers prize of $100, please ask for more books via Carolyn McKinley at

Put this date in your calendar to come and enjoy the Taroona Primary School Seaside Festival.  This biennual Festival is always a fun-filled day that brings together many different members of our community and is a significant fund-raising initiative for the School.

We will have so many things for all ages to enjoy on the day including: a wide variety of food and produce stalls, live music, trash and treasure, side-show alley, a marine expo and educative displays from other Taroona community groups.  A special highlight of this year’s Festival will be a line up of music talent from the Taroona High School Band to individuals performers providing quality entertainment throughout the day.

Please note that we will formally acknowledge Rememberence Day and be striving to provide an environmentally-friendly experience for Festival goers including being plastic-bag free.

Contact Leah Magliano,, for more information about volunteering; participating as a stall holder;  or to offer your fund-raising ideas.
